Who We Are

JobNavPro ("we", "us", or "our") is an AI-powered career intelligence platform designed to help professionals navigate job applications, optimise CVs, prepare for interviews, and make informed career decisions.

JobNavPro operates as a browser-based application with no mandatory server-side data collection. Your data stays with you — in your browser — unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.

What Data We Collect

Data stored locally in your browser (localStorage)

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone, headline, location)
  • CV text and vault contents (up to 5 CV versions)
  • Job application history (company, role, status, dates, ATS scores)
  • AI provider API keys you enter
  • Platform settings and preferences
Data we do NOT collect: We do not operate a central database. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the above data to our servers. All information remains exclusively in your browser until you choose to export it.

Authentication data

If you use our email sign-in, your email address and a hashed representation of your password are stored in your browser's localStorage only. We do not maintain a user database.

Subscription data

If you subscribe to JobNavPro, we store a subscription record in our Supabase database containing your user ID, subscription status, and billing period dates. This is used solely to verify your access to the platform. No payment credentials are stored on our servers — all payment processing is handled by PayPal.

Third-Party AI Providers

JobNavPro allows you to connect your own AI provider API keys (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or others) to power AI features within the platform. When you use these features:

  • Your CV content or prompt data is sent directly from your browser to your chosen AI provider
  • We do not intercept, log, or store this data on our servers
  • Your API key is stored only in your browser's localStorage and is never transmitted to JobNavPro's servers
  • Each AI provider's own privacy policy governs how they handle data sent to their API

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any AI provider you connect to the platform.

Google Sign-In & OAuth

JobNavPro offers sign-in via Google using OAuth 2.0. When you choose to log in with Google, we receive limited profile information from Google — including your name, email address, and profile picture — solely for the purpose of identifying your account session.

  • We only request the minimum necessary permissions (basic profile and email scope)
  • We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google services without your explicit, separate consent
  • Google's own Privacy Policy governs how Google handles your data during authentication
  • You can revoke JobNavPro's access at any time via your Google Account settings
JobNavPro's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Payments & Billing Data

JobNavPro uses PayPal to process subscription payments. When you subscribe, your payment details are collected and processed entirely by PayPal — we never see, store, or have access to your card number, bank details, or full payment credentials.

What we store

  • Your user ID and email address (for account linkage)
  • Subscription status (e.g. trialing, active, canceled)
  • Billing period start and end dates
  • Payment provider reference (PayPal) — no card or bank details

Refund Policy

All subscription payments processed through JobNavPro are non-refundable. No refunds, credits, or prorations are issued for partial billing periods, unused subscription time, or cancellations made after a billing cycle has commenced. The 3-day free trial is charge-free; the no-refund policy applies exclusively to paid billing cycles. By subscribing, you acknowledge and accept this policy in full. Billing disputes

If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@jobnavpro.com within 30 days of the charge. Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting us may result in immediate account suspension.

Data Sharing

Because JobNavPro does not operate a central data store, there is very limited personal data for us to share. However, in the following circumstances, data may be involved:

  • AI Providers: Career data you process through AI features is sent directly from your browser to your chosen AI provider — not via our servers.
  • Google OAuth: Basic authentication data is exchanged with Google as described in Section 04.
  • PayPal: Payment processing data is handled by PayPal under their own privacy policy. We receive only confirmation of payment status.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of JobNavPro, our users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we will notify users in advance of any material changes to this policy.
We do not sell your data. Your information is never sold, rented, or traded to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

Data Retention

Because your data lives in your browser's localStorage, you are in full control of retention:

  • Data persists in your browser until you clear your browser storage or uninstall the application
  • You can delete all locally stored data at any time via Settings → Your Data → Clear Data
  • Signing out does not automatically delete your locally stored career data — use the clear data option for full removal
  • Google authentication tokens are cleared upon sign-out
  • Subscription records stored in our database are retained for the duration of your account and deleted upon written request to support@jobnavpro.com

Cookies & Tracking

JobNavPro uses minimal cookies and browser storage to operate the application. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

  • Session Cookies: Required to maintain your authenticated session while using the app
  • localStorage: Used extensively to store your career data, settings, and preferences locally on your device
  • Analytics: We may use privacy-respecting, anonymised analytics to understand feature usage and improve the platform — this does not track individual users

You can clear all browser storage data at any time through your browser settings or via the app's data management tools.

Your Rights & Choices

Since your data is stored locally in your browser, you have direct and immediate control over it. Depending on your location, you may also have the following rights:

  • Access: Your data is directly accessible to you at all times within the application
  • Correction: Update or correct your profile and career data at any time via Settings
  • Deletion: Clear all locally stored data at any time via Settings → Your Data
  • Portability: Export your data in structured formats using the app's export tools
  • Opt-Out: You may opt out of any optional analytics or communications at any time

Data Security

We take security seriously across all aspects of the platform:

  • All connections to JobNavPro are encrypted over HTTPS (TLS)
  • Passwords entered for email sign-in are hashed before being stored in localStorage — they are never stored in plain text
  • API keys you enter are stored only in your local browser and are never transmitted to our servers
  • We conduct regular security reviews of our application and infrastructure
While we implement robust security measures, the security of data stored in your browser also depends on the security of your own device. We recommend keeping your browser and operating system up to date. If you suspect a security issue, contact us at support@jobnavpro.com.

Children's Privacy

JobNavPro is intended for use by individuals who are 16 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

If you believe a child under 16 has registered for an account, please contact us at support@jobnavpro.com and we will take prompt action.

International Users

JobNavPro is accessible globally and is operated from the United Arab Emirates. Since we do not operate a centralised data store, your information does not cross international borders through our infrastructure. API calls go directly from your browser to your chosen AI provider's servers, which may be located in various jurisdictions.

Where applicable law grants you rights under frameworks such as GDPR (European Union) or UAE PDPL, you can exercise all data access, correction, and deletion rights directly through the platform or by contacting us. Your data is already under your exclusive control in your browser.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will display a notice within the platform and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of JobNavPro after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
